Job SummaryAs a Senior Technical Product Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, you will be a strategic adviser to the business, playing a key role in providing detailed technical information to our partners, customers, and employees. We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to learn and experiment with new technologies, and can identify and address sales challenges. You will work across product teams to drive valuable insight, guidance, and feedback back into Palo Alto Networks.
Qualifications Key Responsibilities- Work with legal, sales, product marketing, and customers to promote innovation as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Coordinate and lead ambitious projects in a multi-functional capacity with other teams.
- Work directly with Product Managers and provide product feedback for future development.
- Drive cloud native security innovations for the modern security operations center.
- Help design and build content and demonstrations for a security-minded marketplace.
- Write and create high-quality integration guides for customers and partners.
Required Qualifications- 2-4 years of experience with one or more major cloud infrastructure providers.
- Deep understanding of cloud native security and security operations use cases.
- Experience managing cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent professional presence and confidence advising all levels, from entry-level analysts to top executives.
- Deep Application security experience, including building and securing CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with applications that leverage AI tooling (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Azure Foundry, Google Vertex).
- Understanding of securing cloud platforms using security operations automation.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience.
- Experience in building Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows and incident response.
- Experience in building Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) integrations
Compensation DisclosureThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
