Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (Sr. TIPM) to lead the delivery of cross-functional operational remediation programs across IREN's AI infrastructure and hyperscale data centre portfolio. The Sr. TIPM is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and delivering infrastructure remediation initiatives that improve the reliability, performance, scalability, and operational readiness of existing GPU cloud, HPC, networking, and data centre environments. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Site Leadership, and Technical Program Managers responsible for new infrastructure deployments, the Sr. TIPM owns post-deployment remediation programs, operational improvements, lifecycle enhancements, and continuous infrastructure optimization. The successful candidate combines deep technical knowledge with exceptional program management capabilities and thrives in complex, fast-paced infrastructure environments.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of Technical Program or Project Management experience.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure remediation or operational improvement programs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting AI infrastructure or hyperscale data centre environments.
  • Experience with GPU compute platforms and HPC infrastructure.
  • Experience managing operational remediation, infrastructure lifecycle, or reliability improvement programs.
  • Familiarity with Dell, NVIDIA, Lenovo, Supermicro, and multi-OEM environments.
  • Knowledge of ROCE, InfiniBand, or similar enterprise networking technologies.
  • Experience with NetBox, Nlyte DCIM, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced scheduling experience using Jira, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, APM, or CSM certification.


Job responsibilities

The Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (Sr. TIPM) is responsible for:
Infrastructure Remediation Programs
  • Manage Technical Infrastructure Program Group
  • Own Canadian remediation and operational improvement programs across IREN's existing AI infrastructure portfolio.
  • Identify infrastructure gaps, recurring operational issues, and opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Develop remediation roadmaps aligned with business priorities and operational objectives.
  • Coordinate execution across Engineering, Operations, Networking, Facilities, Procurement, Security, and OEM vendors.
  • Drive measurable improvements in infrastructure stability, service reliability, and operational maturity.
  • Partner with Technical Program Managers to transition newly deployed infrastructure into steady-state operations and continuous improvement programs.
Program Strategy & Governance
  • Own the strategy and execution of large-scale operational remediation programs.
  • Establish clear program objectives, milestones, and measurable success criteria.
  • Build scalable governance frameworks supporting infrastructure reliability initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Stage Gate Reviews, RACI Matrices, Risk Registers, Dependency Tracking, Executive Dashboards, and Infrastructure Delivery Playbooks.
  • Continuously improve program management practices across the Technical Program Management organization.
Program Scheduling & Controls
  • Develop and maintain integrated program schedules for operational remediation initiatives.
  • Own milestone planning, dependency management, schedule forecasting, and critical path analysis.
  • Coordinate long-lead procurement activities impacting remediation programs.
  • Monitor schedule performance and proactively manage delivery risks.
  • Provide accurate program reporting, forecasts, and executive updates.
  • Drive schedule discipline across multiple concurrent infrastructure programs.
AI Infrastructure Leadership
  • Lead remediation initiatives supporting GPU Cloud Infrastructure, High Performance Computing (HPC), AI Compute Platforms, Data Centre Infrastructure, Network Infrastructure, Fibre Connectivity, Power & Cooling Systems, Infrastructure Capacity Optimization, Operational Readiness, and Infrastructure Lifecycle Management.
  • Partner with OEM vendors including Dell, NVIDIA, Lenovo, Supermicro, and network providers.
Executive Stakeholder Management
  • Communicate program health, risks, and strategic recommendations to Senior Leadership.
  • Build trusted relationships across Engineering, Operations, Construction, Procurement, and executive leadership.
  • Facilitate decision-making through data-driven recommendations and transparent reporting.
  • Resolve cross-functional issues while maintaining alignment with business priorities.
Financial & Risk Management
  • Support program forecasting and capital planning for remediation initiatives.
  • Monitor schedule performance, procurement risks, and operational impacts.
  • Develop mitigation strategies for technical, operational, and vendor-related risks.
  • Ensure remediation programs are delivered predictably and efficiently.
Organizational Leadership
  • Mentor Technical Program Managers and project team members.
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding activities.
  • Promote standardized program management practices across the TPM organization.
  • Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to the ongoing maturity of IREN's Technical Program Management function.

Compensation
