Full Job Description
The Legal, Compliance, Policy Organization's Solutions & Strategy team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team. As technical program manager, you will be part of a smart, collaborative team focused on modernizing how Intuit's legal function operates, leverages data, automation, and AI. In this role you will work closely with legal operations, counsel, engineering, and other internal stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities where technology and AI-powered tools can make LCPO faster, data driven, and more efficient while enabling the business.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a technical translator and point of contact between Legal, Compliance and Policy Practice Groups and FLP Tech engineering - converting legal/business requirements and processes into clear technical requirements, user stories, and program plans that engineering can execute against.
  • Partner directly with LCPO stakeholders across Legal Practice Groups to gather requirements, ask the right clarifying questions, and surface the true underlying need, not just the stated ask.
  • Own end-to-end program delivery for prioritized Legal Tech initiatives (e.g., Unified Orchestration, workflow automation, AI-assisted review tooling, CLM and data lake integrations), from planning through launch.
  • Champion end user experience throughout the delivery lifecycle - pressure-testing designs and workflows from the perspective of the legal/compliance practitioners, and business stakeholders who will actually use these tools day to day.
  • Structure program delivery across engineering teams by applying strong SDLC knowledge - identifying workstreams, owners, dependencies, and risks before they materialize.
  • Drive the operating rhythm for assigned programs: build and maintain plans with clear milestones and success measures, run status/risk reporting, and proactively escalate blockers with recommended paths to green.
  • Build credibility with technical SMEs and engineering leads - understand solutions deeply enough to participate in architecture and trade-off discussions, and communicate technical constraints back to legal/business stakeholders in plain language.
  • Apply AI tools as thought partners to accelerate requirements analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication, and help evaluate the quality and risk of AI-assisted outputs.
  • Support change management for new tools, workflows, and process redesigns - including stakeholder communication, training, and adoption tracking - to ensure LCPO teams actually adopt what FLP Tech ships.
  • Contribute to and help scale program management best practices, tools, and templates across the Legal Tech program portfolio.
  • Own clear from-to metrics on intake so every request has a stated baseline and target before work begins.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, or a related program/product delivery role, ideally including some experience supporting enterprise, legal, compliance, or other regulated business functions.
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC methodologies and the software delivery lifecycle; able to structure and manage technical program delivery across cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a translator between non-technical business/legal stakeholders and engineering teams - turning ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable technical scope.
  • Strong requirements-gathering skills, including the ability to ask incisive clarifying questions, identify unstated assumptions, and drive stakeholders to a well-scoped problem definition.
  • High level of technical acumen: comfortable engaging in architecture and trade-off conversations with engineers, without requiring a hands-on coding background.
  • A genuine focus on end user experience - able to advocate for usability and workflow simplicity even under legal/compliance complexity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and strong working relationships across Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Engineering.
  • Superior program/project management and time-management skills, including managing multiple priorities and cross-functional dependencies in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to drive operating rhythm: building plans, tracking risks/dependencies, and communicating clearly with data to drive alignment and decisions.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, agentic AI/workflow platforms) and a demonstrated interest in applying them to accelerate program delivery.
  • Proven history of taking initiative, working independently, and proactively identifying areas of need and generating recommended action plans.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a demonstrated willingness to dive into new legal, compliance, and technical domains.
  • Preferred Prior experience working with or adjacent to a Legal, Compliance, or Privacy organization.
  • Experience with legal tech / workflow orchestration platforms (e.g., Tonkean, ServiceNow, Ironclad, Legal Tracker) or comparable enterprise workflow tools.
