We are looking for a Senior Technical Accounting Manager with strong technical accounting skills, who is a great collaborator, and is passionate about delivering quality results and driving continual improvement in a dynamic, high-growth environment. The role will report to the Director of Financial Reporting and provide technical accounting guidance on complex accounting issues and transactions as well as play a key role in understanding and adopting new accounting standards. The role will partner with cross-functional team leads including revenue accounting, corporate accounting, corporate development, legal, finance, treasury and other subject matter experts and leaders within the Company.
Your role:- Work cross-functionally on contemplated business transactions to ensure accounting issues are identified, resolved, and documented in high-quality technical memos.
- Own the development of technical accounting memoranda and accounting policies for new products, transactions, and business initiatives, performing independent accounting research and exercising professional judgment while effectively prioritizing multiple workstreams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Monitor and assess the impact of new accounting pronouncements and regulatory updates on the organization.
- Own the creation, revision, and maintenance of Company-wide accounting policies, ensuring they remain current with new pronouncements and regulatory updates.
- Establish, document, and educate others on Company-wide accounting policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors to provide documentation for policy positions in support of external audits.
- Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting and disclosure controls, including identification and remediation of control gaps.
- Participate in monthly and quarterly close review processes to ensure accurate accounting, appropriate judgments, and high-quality external financial reporting.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent professional certification required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or high-growth, technology-focused companies, with significant exposure to complex technical accounting matters
- Strong command of U.S. GAAP with a working understanding of IFRS concepts and differences
- Highly self-directed and accountable, with a proven ability to deliver against defined objectives and timelines
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing competing demands and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization
- Critical thinker who can foresee potential obstacles and propose alternative approaches

While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
