Partner with the bestYou'll apply your problem-solving ability, empathy, creativity, and cybersecurity knowledge to help map APIs, assess exposure, showcase attacks patterns and indicators of compromise, and drive impact.
As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Owning the technical relationship with customers from onboarding through renewal
- Performing technical presentations and demos for customers and partners
- Communicating concepts to audiences, including executive-level decision-makers, and follow up with technical staff in all areas
- Adapting to complex, changing business environments to deliver valuable solutions to enterprise customers
- Providing updates to customers on requested features, bug fixes, and product roadmaps
- Familiarizing yourself with customer environments, requirements, and milestones in order to help drive value
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5 years' experience and a successful track record in the security industry with large enterprise customers
- Possess Security knowledge to understand common API security vulnerabilities and attacks in-depth
- Have an understanding of Application Security Principles and how to apply them in the app development process
- Have excellent knowledge and experience with a wide variety of cloud and cybersecurity solutions
- Have excellent written English coupled with verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills
CompensationAkamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $112,500 - $202,500/year; a candidate's OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
