Senior Tax Analyst

The Senior Tax Analyst will join Veralto's global corporate tax team and support a broad range of tax activities within a dynamic and growing U.S. multinational organization. The role will focus primarily on SEC tax reporting (ASC 740) and U.S. tax compliance, while providing opportunities to gain exposure to additional areas of taxation, including global tax planning, transfer pricing, post-deal integration, and special tax projects.

This position will work closely with Accounting and Finance teams across both Corporate and Veralto's operating companies, requiring strong collaboration, sound technical judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to key tax reporting and compliance processes while continuing to broaden their technical expertise within a complex, global organization.

This position is eligible for a flexible hybrid work arrangement, with an expectation of working from the Waltham, MA office approximately 1-3 days per week depending on business needs, team collaboration, and specific workloads, with the remaining time worked remotely. ravel is expected to be minimal, estimated at up to 5% annually.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year-end global tax provisions, including US and foreign deferred taxes, tax payables, provision to return reconciliations, uncertain tax positions and various components of the effective tax rate
  • Maintain and prepare support schedules for financial statement presentation of income taxes for the quarterly and annual SEC filings Assist applying ASC 740 analysis including provision to return and year-end review of global legal entities
  • Prepare and be an active participant in the timely and accurate filing of the US consolidated federal and state income tax returns, including extensions and estimated tax payments
  • Preparation of book/tax differences for the preparation of US income tax returns
  • Assist with the preparation of international tax forms associated with US federal tax filings, including; Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 1118, FBAR, some of which are currently outsourced to a consulting firm
  • Assist with monitoring and testing internal control procedures and compliance regarding Sarbanes OxleyResearch and document relevant tax laws regarding positions taken on tax returns and the financial statements
  • Identify and assist in effectuating process improvements in the areas primarily centered around compliance and tax reporting with the use of Artificial Intelligence, Alteryx, various tax software programs and other products.
  • Participate in special projects including transfer pricing, global tax planning, and other domestic and international income tax issues (as time permits)
  • Partner with corporate functional areas and business teams, at the operating company level, to establish processes and facilitate continuous process improvements
  • Proactively pursue professional development activities (attending training, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, expanding technical skillset, etc.)


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting
  • 3+ years of relevant tax experience working in a public accounting firm or in a tax department for a U.S. multinational corporation
  • General Ledger/Accounting experience
  • Strong Excel skills, including data gathering and manipulation
  • Ability to drive change and promote efficiency and automation through technology and software tools


Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree and CPA license
  • Corptax experience - highly preferred
  • Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, AI platforms, and other technology advancements - highly preferred
  • U.S. international tax experience - a plus

This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
