We are hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead end-to-end recruiting for our Headquarters. This includes overseeing hiring for our Business Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, Legal and Finance teams. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who can operate at a senior level, advise business leaders, and drive high-quality hiring outcomes in a fast-moving environment. Every day, you're building relationships, solving puzzles, and making calls that ripple through an entire organization!

Responsibilities
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Corporate Development, M&A, Sales, Marketing, and Finance functions, including senior and executive-level searches
  • Build and maintain a strong network within the M&A, corporate strategy, and business development talent community
  • Develop sourcing strategies that generate diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines
  • Partner directly with VP- and C-suite hiring managers as a trusted advisor - setting expectations, sharing market intelligence, and influencing hiring decisions
  • Use data and recruiting metrics to track pipeline health, assess search progress, and drive smarter decisions
  • Improve recruiting processes, drive ATS and tool adoption, and mentor other members of the talent team
  • Share market insights that shape broader talent strategy at headquarters

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, including at least 5 years in-house; direct industry experience in M&A or corporate development is a plus but not required
  • Someone who proactively builds relationships rather than waiting for applications
  • You play the long game, building genuine connections with top candidates even when the timing isn't right. Your pipeline is alive because you stayed in touch, added value, and became the person they call when they're ready to move.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build genuine relationships with candidates and get them excited about Banyan's culture and team
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at the senior leader level
  • Scrappy and resourceful - takes initiative, moves with urgency, and finds creative ways to reach top talent
  • Collaborative team player who works well cross-functionally across People, Finance, and business teams

The expected base salary for this position is: CAD $105,000 - $125,000 and includes annual bonus and equity (when applicable). Salary is based on a number of factors including market conditions, location and may vary depending on job-related skills and experience.
