Full Job Description
The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD, is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team. TThe Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant (TAC) is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts for assigned departments and hard-to-fill positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers and leadership to execute strategic recruitment plans, ensure a positive candidate experience, and deliver top talent. The TAC manages the candidate's experience from initial sourcing through onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition and long-term success. The role serves as a subject matter expert in recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, workforce planning, and talent acquisition best practices.

Your role in Action:
  • Acts as a trusted consultant to hiring managers by providing guidance on workforce planning, recruitment strategy, candidate selection, labor market trends, and best hiring practices to support organizational objectives.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and onboarding support.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies for difficult-to-fill and high-volume positions.
  • Leverage and establish positive on-going relationships with university/college administrators, community organizations, and other sourcing contacts to secure quality talent for the agency.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with hiring managers and develop interview strategies, structured interview questions, and candidate evaluation criteria that supports effective hiring decisions.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to establish recruitment plans, timelines, and candidate qualifications.
  • Source and attract qualified candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and direct sourcing techniques.
  • Review resumes and applications in a timely manner to identify qualified candidates.
  • Manage the end-to-end interview process by coordinating interviews between hiring managers and candidates, providing interview guidance and materials, facilitating communication, resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring a consistent, timely, and positive candidate experience.
  • Extend and negotiate job offers in partnership with HR Operations, ensuring accurate compensation, approvals, and compliance.
  • Deliver exceptional candidate communication throughout the process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Partner with the HR Business Partners to anticipate workforce needs and develop proactive recruiting and retention strategies.
  • Partner with the Onboarding Team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline activity, interview ratios, and offer acceptance rates.
  • Assist with training and mentoring Talent Acquisition Consultants as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, policies, and hiring procedures.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and applicant tracking system records.
  • Document and analyze the results of each recruiting effort, identify trends in data, and recommend changes in recruiting strategies as needed.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements to increase recruitment efficiency and candidate quality.
  • Provide onboarding status updates to managers and stakeholders throughout the pre-employment process.
  • Attend, coordinate, and lead recruitment activities, including job fairs, career fairs, college and university outreach events, workforce development programs, and community engagement initiatives. Regular travel to recruitment sites is required.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

Education :

Experience:
