Join our Talent Acquisition team as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant leading full-cycle recruitment efforts for our Therapy and Rehabilitation service lines. In this role, you will partner with leaders to attract and hire top talent across a diverse portfolio of positions, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Athletic Trainers, and critical rehabilitation support roles.

General Summary

Serves as a strategic business partner responsible for defining open positions, attracting and hiring diverse, top talent, as well as, delivering metrics necessary to achieve "best in class" talent acquisition. Partners with assigned department clients and other areas of Human Resources to design/implement effective and creative recruitment plans. Provides recruitment services in a positive, timely, service-oriented, cost efficient and effective manner. Recruitment services are delivered by working closely with hiring management to understand their business, proactively address their staffing needs, and providing recruitment services to meet those needs.

Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for consulting with department clients, to define short- and long-term staffing needs (based on succession planning, hiring forecast, expected/unexpected turnover, and new program development).
  • Assists hiring managers with job analysis and job description development including ensuring appropriate content.
  • In conjunction with the Sourcing team, develops and implements recruitment plans for assigned departments and/or key jobs.
  • Prepares applicants for interviewing with specific hiring managers by providing detailed information regarding the job, department structure and employee value proposition.
  • Manages the qualification, interview, and selection process, recommending top 3-5 candidates for hiring manager interviews. Participates in post interview debrief/feedback with interview teams to ensure selection of the best candidate.
  • Consults with management on hiring, promotion and transfer decisions including recommendations on final candidates and offer negotiations.
  • Builds relationships with peers, hiring managers and executives.
  • Trains and educates new leaders on the staffing process.
  • Responsible for understanding, developing, and deploying continuous improvement initiatives based on key business indicators.
  • Maintains knowledge of current Health System employee offerings, benefits, salary structures, etc. Provides Health System information related to culture and benefits to potential candidates, which promotes Health System as both the provider of choice and the employer of choice.
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of recruiting.

Minimum Education:
  • Bachelors Degree Business, Human Resources, Sales/Marketing or related discipline Required

Work Experience:
  • 5 years Personnel/business administration or human services; Knowledge and application of Federal and State employment laws, regulations, and legislation; Utilization of innovative sourcing, screening, and recruitment tools and techniques to recruit quality candidates. Required
  • Healthcare; Recruitment and other human resources disciplines including, compensation, benefits, HRIS, employee/labor relations, training, and organization development; Full scope staffing including knowledge of sourcing efficiencies, candidate assessment techniques and job offer negotiation skills. Preferred

Courses and Training:
  • Certification in Human Resources Upon Hire Preferred or
  • Certification in Healthcare Recruitment Upon Hire Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience utilizing structured candidate assessment methodologies (i.e. - behavioral based interviewing) for candidate selection or related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, establish service level agreements to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced level computer skills including Microsoft Office - Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Advanced education/training in the areas of consulting, behavior modification, recruiting, sales, negotiation, preferred.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and other electronic recruitment tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing, listening, fact finding and problem solving.
  • Exemplary organizational skills, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and follow through on requests.
  • Ability to analyze using qualitative and quantitative information for decision support.
  • Ability to influence hiring management to move quickly in selection and offer stages to optimize the opportunity to hire top candidates.
