Provide system administration, user administration, user assistance, file transfers, backups, laptop control, printouts, Sudo, NMCI pre-support (to validate issue is actually NMCI) and documentation creation/updates.
Communicate effectively with others; work independently under limited supervision. Perform administrative tasks such as managing print-outs, filing paperwork, creation and editing of business documentation.
Perform basic IT functions such as basic user account creation, password resets, file permissions changes, user assistance, file transfers, monitoring backups, handling IT hardware.
Requirements
Per Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8140.01, this position shall require Information Assurance Technicians (IAT) Level 2 certification (both an Information Assurance (IA) certification and a Windows Operating System (OS) certification).
Five (5) years of specialized experience in the operation and maintenance of the equipment that comprises the A Department.
The specialized experience includes system administration, user administration, user assistance, file transfers, backups, laptop control, printouts, Sudo, NMCI pre-support (to validate issue is actually NMCI) and documentation creation/updates.
