What you will do:- Serve as authority in systems solutions discipline
- Work unusually complex problems with consultative direction
- Perform technical planning and system integration
- Conduct verification and validation analyses
- Perform cost, risk, and supportability analyses for total systems
- Conduct site surveys and system evaluations
- Perform architecture and infrastructure assessments
- Convert customer requirements into total systems solutions
- Apply and develop advanced technologies and scientific principles
- Provide input to R&D programs
What you will bring: - BA/BS in a technical or managerial discipline
- 10 years of experience in systems engineering
- Managerial and leadership experience
- Experience with technical planning and system integration
- Knowledge of verification, validation, and risk analysis
- Experience with site surveys and infrastructure assessments
- Ability to apply advanced technologies and scientific principles
How you will wow us:- Extensive experience with DoD, DISA, or DES systems engineering
- Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance strongly preferred
- Ability to work on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA
- Experience leading systems engineering teams in defense environments
- Background in DoD technical planning and system integration
- Familiarity with defense verification and validation processes
