We're hiring a Senior Systems Programmer for a remote role.Skills & Qualifications:- Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
- 6 years of IT work experience, including varied systems programming experience
- Proficiency in JCL
- Mainframe/host experience
- Experience with IBM z/OS MQ mainframe
- Proven experience in creating and maintaining a queue manager and queues
Key Responsibilities:- Resolve test and production issues that arise
- Work on customer requests such as creating new queues, queue managers, and changing queue depth
- Participate in projects ranging from installing the latest release of MQ to configuring MQ on servers
- Handle error reports and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Perform internal monitoring, including checking queue depth
Education/Certifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or 4 years of job-related work experience
The hourly rate for this position is $49.12.
