In this role, you'll work closely with software developers, systems engineers, product owners, and mission stakeholders to help guide projects from concept through delivery. Key Responsibilities- Partner with engineering teams, product owners, and mission stakeholders to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software development efforts.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Gather, document, analyze, and manage functional and technical requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize work, remove impediments, and ensure project milestones remain on track.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, technical artifacts, user stories, and engineering documentation.
- Track project status, risks, action items, and deliverables while communicating progress to leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Support software release planning, testing coordination, and deployment readiness activities.
- Collaborate with software developers and systems engineers to ensure requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
- Promote Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and effective communication across development teams.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives that enhance software delivery, team collaboration, and overall program execution.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Approximately 8+ years supporting software engineering, systems engineering, Agile project delivery, or technical program execution.
- Experience supporting Agile software development teams.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and managing functional or technical requirements.
- Experience facilitating meetings and coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience developing technical documentation, project artifacts, and status reporting.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Lead, Systems Engineer, Technical Project Manager, or Project Integrator.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management tools.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC), systems engineering processes, and Agile methodologies.
- Scrum certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense software development programs.
- Familiarity with software engineering concepts, modern application development, or cloud-based environments.
