Full Job Description
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will work primarily on the MARCENT Program. As a technology leader, you will support our overall technical solution and provide technology assessments. You will serve as an engineer and advisor to the Lead Engineer on all system engineering matters. This position supports the technical performance for systems requirements definition, engineering design, system integration, accreditation, and testing. This position may require work at government locations or at iGov's integration facility in Tampa Florida and may require travel to Government and/or contractor CONUS facilities.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Serve as CSfC Technical Subject Matter Expert
  • Accomplish project milestones
  • Ensure work environment meets standards for ethics, fairness and safety
  • Comply with time reporting and conduct timecard approvals
  • Adhere to project plans to include cost, and schedule
  • Assist, support and collaborate with peer Engineers
  • Derive requirements, identify risks and determine probability and impacts to the overall MCH program
  • Evaluate and recommend new products, solutions and designs in response to requirements
  • Plan, design, integrate, configure, test, document and support for the entire MCH solution
  • Author, manage and maintain written technical materials
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the iGov Sales and Business Development teams
  • Timely Attendance is an essential function of your job.
  • Other systems engineer related duties as required.

Essential Required Experience & Skills:
  • 10 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in designing complex Information Technology systems.
  • 5 years Server Operating Systems and Domain Administration experience in a Windows Server 2022 or later environment
  • 5 years virtualization experience in a VMware environment
  • 5 years networking experience in a Cisco environment
  • 5 years networking experience in Aruba environment
  • 5 years working with Certificates and Certificate Authorities
  • 5 years networking experience in a PaloAlto environment
  • 5 years Linux Server Operating systems
  • Astute observer with effective root cause identification and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with project management approaches, project lifecycles, and tools
  • Prior military experience and experience in deploying tactical information technology equipment in support of military is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain US security clearance
  • Team player able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • One or more of the following industry recognized accreditations is preferred:
    • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • VMware Certified Associate (VCA)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); CompTIA Security+; or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline
