MDA Joint Integrated Fire Control is seeking Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Engineers with a background in Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering to join our rapidly growing Mission Engineering team. We have multiple vacancies for mid-level professionals ready to make an impact. In this role, you will be the technical engine behind our Mission Engineering analyses. You will develop, integrate, and execute complex simulations of Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) systems to evaluate end-to-end mission effectiveness under varied conditions. Your work will directly translate theoretical mission architectures into quantifiable performance data, accelerating our customers' ability to make data-driven investment and modernization decisions.
Duties:
- Support planning and execution of Joint hardware-in-the-loop / software-in-the-loop ground tests, Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) events, flight tests, exercises, and demonstrations
- Coordinate, evolve, and refine technical requirements necessary to develop Operational and Systems Architectures
- Provide technical guidance and support for ongoing Joint Tactical Integrated Fire Control (JTIFC) efforts
- Build Long-term relationships with new and existing partners in industry and government
- Create technical products that assess JTIFC system performance to inform Government decision makers
- Brief technical requirements and architectures to high-ranking Service and MDA stakeholders
- Interface with JTIFC agencies to coordinate solution-sharing and data management tasking
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- At least 12 years related systems engineering experience, preferably with Integrated Air and Missile Defense related systems
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex system of systems integration efforts from initial concept definition through integration and test incorporating complex threat scenarios
- Hands on experience in testing, integration, data collection and post-event analysis
- Proven problem-solving skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel 20-25% of the time
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
