Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 15 years of System Administrator experience, or high school diploma with 20 years of System Administrator experience.
  • Experience with Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Familiarity with Linux Server Administration.
  • Skilled in VMware/ESXi and VMware vCenter.
  • Knowledge in Networking Switching and Router Management.
  • Storage Management expertise (NetApp).
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with current Full-Scope Polygraph.
  • Active DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA-Security).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure systems work reliably.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for systems administration.
  • Maintain system security in line with organizational policies.
  • Manage user accounts and access to systems and equipment.
  • Plan and execute data redundancy and recovery procedures.
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot systems and servers.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance and configurations.

Full Job Description
In this role, you will be a collaborative member of a small and mostly autonomous team directly supporting secure enclave development networks.

In this role you will:
  • Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability.
  • Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.
  • Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
  • Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures.
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot systems and servers.
  • Comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures.
  • Implement and enforce local network usage policies and procedures.
  • Manage system and server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.
  • Monitor and maintain system and server configurations.
  • Perform repairs on faulty system and server hardware.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education and experience (one of the following):
    • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline + 15 years' experience as a System Administrator
    • High school diploma + 20 years' experience as a System Administrator
  • Experience with Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy
  • Familiarity with Linux Server Administration
  • VMware/ESXi
  • VMware vCenter
  • Networking Switching and Router Management
  • VMware Virtual Networking
  • Storage Management (NetApp)
  • Hardware and Operating System troubleshooting
  • System hardening
  • Security Compliance Scanning (Nessus, ACAS)
  • Understanding of project design within the scope of security (RMF) requirements
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with current Full-Scope Polygraph (MPO) (CI within 6 years)
  • Active DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)
  • Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving
