Senior Systems Administrator to organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems, conducting capacity and performance analysis, and developing system administrator procedures and training.
What you will do:- Organize and direct configuration of information management systems
- Direct the work of other system administrators
- Provide day-to-day system administration
- Optimize system and resource performance
- Provide user assistance
- Conduct capacity and performance analysis
- Provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations
- Develop automated tools and scripts to increase efficiency
- Develop system administrator procedures
- Conduct training and skills assessment
What you will bring: - BA/BS in a technical or managerial discipline
- 5 years of experience in systems administration
- Experience directing configuration of information management systems
- Knowledge of capacity and performance analysis
- Experience developing automated tools and scripts
- Training and skills assessment experience
- Supervisory experience
How you will wow us:- Prior experience administering systems for DoD, DISA, or DES
- Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance strongly preferred
- Ability to work on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA
- Experience with DoD system hardening and STIG compliance
- Background in classified system administration
- Familiarity with DoD automated tools and scripting requirements
