POSITION SUMMARY: This position will support the one or more of our divisions, reporting into the Supply Planning Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop 78-week master production schedule on a weekly basis that achieves targeted inventory and service levels. Monitor APO or OMP alerts to identify potential inventory problems through all planning horizons and coordinate efforts to resolve. Collaborate with Factory Supply Chain and/or 3rd party Copacker on the tactical execution of the production plan.
  • Develop and maintain SAP/APO/OMP Master Data, which includes materials, resources, shift definitions, and the like. Collaborate with Factory Supply Chain and/or 3rd party Copacker to ensure alignment of planning parameters with factory- level constraints.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the Weekly Comms Demand/Supply Review and Ensure Supply meetings as well as the Monthly Production Review; act as Process Owner of these meetings to ensure the process is an integral part of the planning and control process.
  • Continuously work to align with Manufacturing on the operating conditions of the factory (ies), including calendar and performance assumptions. Offer suggestions and seek commitment to best meet Customer demand, ensuring high Customer Service and Freshness, while minimizing cost.
  • Participate in the development of integrated budgets; responsible for the alignment of demand plans, master schedules, factory schedules, and purchasing programs.
  • Work closely with internal co-packing and co-manufacturing teams to ensure proper set up of new co packed items or changes to existing co-packed items.
  • Make necessary adjustments to short-term and intermediate schedules on a daily basis, reacting to market demands.
  • Participate in and/or represent department in divisional task force workgroups.
  • Develop and lead short term projects related to capacity studies, cost savings initiatives, and other Ensure Supply objectives related to supply planning.
  • Create and maintain reporting to all levels of the organization that summarizes inventory levels, capacity, service level and all related issues that support these key performance indicators.
  • Work with and through the Purchasing group to resolve scheduling constraints and raw material availability to support current manufacturing plans.
  • Divisional and Factory contact for any reporting needs.
  • Communicate and work closely with all Supply Chain groups in order to support Sales & Marketing objectives.
  • Influence and participate in functional and divisional projects as necessary.


REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Supply Chain Management field, Engineering or Business related field

EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-5 years of end to end supply chain experience: production planning, supply chain, procurement, project management

SKILLS:
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel software Demonstrated expertise in SAP is preferred, but not mandatory
