Role Summary:This planner balances supply with demand for finished goods or repair parts to ensure targeted customer service rates, inventory levels, and working capital goals are met. This planner is responsible for 100-200 SKUs, ~15 warehouses, and 2-3 factories. In addition to developing inventory supply plans, the planner is responsible for key metrics such as network and facing fill rates, inventory turns, and inventory working capital. The role requires strong execution skills combined with a strategic mindset to support scenario planning, participate in S&OP, and proactively engage cross-functionally with many teams including Sales, Factory Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, Deployment, and Logistics.
What You Will Be Doing- Balance supply and demand for finished goods to meet service, inventory, and working capital targets
- Based on projected demand, negotiate capacity and daily build rates with the factory teams and other Lennox business units to support business needs
- Validate and achieve inventory Days of Supply targets and facilitate reduction of excess inventory
- Perform inventory segmentation and manage inventory of new and phase-out parts
- Support scenario planning activities and participate in weekly and monthly S&OP processes
- Maintain supply planning master data in SAP systems
- Collaborate closely with Factory Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization, Logistics, Customer Service and Sales teams
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in supply planning processes and systems
What We Are Looking ForWhat We Are Looking For:- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Requires at least 2 years Production Planning / Inventory Management experience, 4 years of experience in Supply Planning / Inventory Management strongly preferred
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP ECC; SAP IBP experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices in supply planning.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills; proactive cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with advanced planning tools (SAP IBP or similar).
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and process automation.
What We OfferCompensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $80,000 to $105,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
