Full Job Description
Job Description

We're seeking a Supply Demand Platform Planner to connect Oracle's hardware demand plan at the platform level to external manufacturer execution. This role turns the consensus demand plan into accurate supplier signals and system loads, then works across Capacity Management, Materials Execution, Procurement, Product Management, and suppliers to resolve the near-term decisions that determine whether customer demand can be fulfilled.

The ideal candidate has a strong command of both demand and supply planning. They understand how BOMs, components, lead times, capacity, inventory, purchase orders, and product transitions affect supplier execution. While the role maintains a long-range supplier demand view, its central focus is near-term prioritization, allocation, communication, and action in a constrained and fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Translate Oracle's consensus hardware demand plan into accurate supplier demand plans, system signals, and external manufacturer requirements.
  • Own the integrity, timing, and communication of demand signals provided to external manufacturers.
  • Maintain long-range supplier demand visibility while prioritizing near-term supply execution, allocation, and escalation decisions.
  • Partner with Capacity Management, Materials Execution, Procurement, Product Management, Engineering, and supplier partners to align demand, material availability, capacity, and delivery plans.
  • Understand the impact of demand changes, including component availability, BOM requirements, lead times, inventory, purchase orders, supplier capacity, and qualification timing.
  • Facilitate allocation and prioritization decisions of demand across suppliers, products, customers, and geographies when supply is constrained.
  • Support Product Lifecycle activities, including BOM management, NPI, material transitions, qualification planning, and EOL management.
  • Communicate demand changes, priorities, supply risks, and required actions clearly and professionally to internal stakeholders and supplier partners.
  • Identify emerging execution risks and develop mitigation options for component shortages, capacity gaps, product transitions, and supplier constraints.
  • Ensure NPI, qualification, and transition plans preserve the flexibility to shift future demand between products or suppliers as needed.
  • Maintain execution metrics and key performance indicators for supplier demand-plan quality, supply readiness, allocation, and delivery performance.
  • Manage multiple concurrent, mission-critical programs with urgency, detailed organization, and strong follow-through.
  • Improve supplier demand-loading processes, planning tools, and cross-functional operating rhythms using insights gained across organizational boundaries.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, materials planning, supplier management, or a related field.
  • Experience translating demand requirements into supplier, supply, manufacturing, or materials plans.
  • Experience partnering with external manufacturers, contract manufacturers, suppliers, Procurement, or Materials Execution teams.
  • Understanding of component planning, supplier capacity, lead times, inventory, allocation, purchase orders, and material constraints.
  • Experience with data center infrastructure hardware, including servers, storage, networking, CPUs, memory, JBODs, or related technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret BOMs, product documentation, and supply-chain data.
  • Advanced Excel modeling and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Ability to make high-quality, time-sensitive decisions amid supply constraints and competing customer priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud or hyperscale infrastructure experience.
  • Experience with contract-manufacturer planning, supplier capacity management, or materials execution.
  • Experience with ERP, demand-planning, supply-planning, or supplier-collaboration systems.
  • Experience managing NPI ramps, qualification, material transitions, or EOL execution.
  • Experience with SQL, business intelligence tools, or process automation.
  • Experience supporting S&OP or integrated business-planning processes.
