Qualifications

• Two or four-year degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience and training.
• Minimum 5 years supervising heavy civil construction projects valued between $25M-$75M.
• Strong knowledge across construction disciplines: civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.
• Familiarity with cost control, manpower planning, and project scheduling.
• Experience with project closeout and punch list management.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and related computer programs.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with Owners and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise major activities like site work, concrete, and mechanical equipment installation.
• Plan and manage the work of employees and subcontractors, including construction methods and schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractor work to ensure efficiency and adherence to project timelines.
• Liaise with engineering and project management to align work with specifications and schedules.
• Resolve construction problems, including productivity issues and work interfaces.
• Monitor compliance with safety programs and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Inspect project work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
