Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent, ideally in DPR’s core markets.
• Construction supervisor license required; ABC license preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management (Prolog or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).
• Excellent communication and listening skills to ensure effective collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
• A flexible, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple tasks.
• A strong work ethic paired with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor project superintendents and assistant superintendents.
• Participate in project proposal and pre-construction phases to validate schedules.
• Lead collaborative field planning using short interval planning and production tracking.
• Create and update construction schedules, monitoring logic relationships as needed.
• Coordinate jobsite logistics and maintain good relationships with neighboring occupants.
• Negotiate with authorities to meet project occupancy milestones.
• Implement and lead an injury-free environment safety program.
• Oversee subcontractor scheduling and resources in alignment with DPR’s self-perform crews.
• Mentor foremen to prepare them for advancement to superintendent roles.
