Full Job Description
Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:

The successful candidate must have knowledge of concepts, methods, standards, and practices of subcontract administration. Experience with Government subcontract administration preferred. Strong understanding and working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), negotiation skills, excellent organizational and inter-personal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to perform under high levels of stress to meet deadlines in a contingency operations environment.

• Proposal Evaluations
• Negotiating Terms and Conditions
• Price negotiations and price justification
• Subcontract execution and award
• Maintains and updates subcontractors file documentation
• Administering subcontract change orders
• Invoice approvals and resolutions
• Close out

Must be able to negotiate and sustain networking relationships with suppliers. Have exceptional interaction skills when interfacing with our suppliers, and various internal departments.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with priorities changing daily.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience (YOE) in a relevant role, OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least two years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field
• Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. Discipline Description

Subcontract Administration personnel perform sourcing, qualification, procurement, and administration of hardware, services, or engineering to order, construction and/or architect and engineering subcontracts. They develop oversight and risk mitigation plans with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and coordinate the development and execution of supplier development milestones.

Job Family Description

Procurement personnel perform supply chain and logistics functions, which may include, but are not limited to, material and service procurement, production planning, outsourcing, vendor selection, expediting, and distribution. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals.
