Our San Francisco office is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to work in our Structural Engineering team within a growing multidisciplinary team engaged in the design of a variety of building projects, across a number of geographies. Bay Area Projects: • 181 Fremont Tower • Apple Park • Las Vegas High Roller Observation Wheel • Newport Beach Civic Center and Park • UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay • San Francisco Zuckerberg General Hospital • California College of the Arts Campus Expansion • Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Existing Building Rehabilitation • Grand Hyatt SFO Hotel • Reflected Loop Sculpture The Opportunity: • Analyze and design structural elements and systems for steel, concrete, timber and masonry buildings in accordance with building code and design standards. • Perform lateral analyses of structure for seismic and wind loading. • Prepare and review drawings detailing the systems designed. • Complete design calculations for structural systems for permit submittals. • Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and with architectural teams and contractors. • Review submittals prepared by contractors and respond to requests for information, perform construction site visits to observe the progress of construction. • Communicate our structural engineering designs to our clients and other stakeholders. San Francisco Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in San Francisco is $122,000 to $143,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
