Full Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager to join our Strategy & Operations team. This role will report to the VP of Strategy & Operations. This talented and motivated self-starter will be responsible for executing a diverse array of strategic initiatives across the business, with a focus on areas of high priority for Garner's leadership team. You'll be responsible for deploying management best practices and have the chance to learn what it takes to operate in a high-performance and high-impact environment. Where you will work: • This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. What you will do: • Execute strategic projects across the business; dive deep into areas of high priority for Garner's leadership team • Take on a portfolio of operational processes - that you will develop and deploy - in close collaboration with subject matter experts across Garner • Rotate through a variety of high impact initiatives providing you with broad exposure across the company • Support Garner's strategic operating rhythm, including managing company KPIs and driving our annual/quarterly planning processes • Work directly with Garner's leadership on high-visibility initiatives for the business The ideal candidate has: • 5+ years of experience in a strategic problem-solving role; prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or an early-stage startup environment • A strong ability to break down unstructured problems into their component parts, recommend solutions, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement them • A combination of a high ownership mentality and detail orientation that has resulted in a track record of delivering operational initiatives • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize insights from complex data • A willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success • Interest and/or experience working in healthcare, with a mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system • A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback. Compensation Transparency: The target salary range for this position is: $210,000-250,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws.
