As our Senior Strategic Recruiter, you'll do far more than fill vacancies. You'll partner with business leaders to solve complex talent challenges, build strategic pipelines for critical roles, identify emerging workforce needs, and influence how we attract and hire top talent across the organization. From executive searches and specialized recruitment to employer branding, talent mapping, workforce planning, and recruitment technology, you'll play a key role in helping us secure the talent needed to drive long-term success.

Roles and Responsibilities Full-Cycle Recruitment Excellence - Lead end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct structured, competency-based interviews and guide leaders in selection and offer decisions.
- Build and maintain specialized talent pools for recurring and critical roles.
ATS Optimization & Technology - Leverage IT and systems expertise to configure, optimize, and maintain the ATS for accuracy, efficiency, and reporting.
- Improve workflows, automation, and data integrity to support better decision-making and candidate management.
- Partner with HR and IT teams to evaluate and implement new tools or enhancements.
Employer Brand, EVP & Visibility - Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen the employer brand, digital presence, and recruitment marketing strategy.
- Support the development and communication of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
- Increase visibility and reach through targeted campaigns, storytelling, and content aligned with our culture and values.
Networking, Events & Industry Presence - Meet with industry professionals, prospective candidates, referral sources, and market influencers to build relationships, gather market intelligence, and strengthen the organization's access to top talent.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, job fairs, and networking functions.
- Build strong relationships with industry associations, educational institutions, and community partners.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's culture, mission, and opportunities.
Candidate Engagement & Relationship Management - Build long-term relationships with high-potential and passive candidates.
- Maintain active communication with talent communities to support future hiring needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to candidates, ensuring transparency and a positive experience.
Market Research, Insights & Reporting - Monitor labour market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive intelligence.
- Provide leaders with data-driven insights to support compensation decisions and hiring strategies.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, offer acceptance, source effectiveness).
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion - Support DEI goals by sourcing diverse talent and ensuring equitable, bias-aware recruitment practices.
- Partner with leaders to expand access to underrepresented talent pools.
Qualifications- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years in full-cycle recruitment, including senior, specialized, and hard-to-fill roles.
- Strong knowledge of talent markets across multiple geographies and industries
- Experience with ATS configuration, optimization, and reporting.
- Understanding of talent acquisition trends, labour legislation, and recruitment best practices.
- Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications - CPHR and/or RPR designation (or working toward it).
- Established networks within the construction industry or related fields.
- Advanced sourcing capability and LinkedIn Recruiter expertise.
