BASIC PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta's strategic planning process. Plans and facilitates business assessments and management planning sessions. Produces the Bank's annual strategic plan document. Oversees the implementation of strategic planning policy, procedures, and compliance. Develops processes for capturing and reporting of Bank performance and progress measured against goals within the plan. Supports strategic internal and external communications in alignment with the strategic plan to strengthen the Bank's messaging and engagement with key stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Strategic Planning & Enterprise Initiatives
  • Support development, execution, and ongoing management of the enterprise strategic plan and other key reports.
  • Coordinate strategic planning activities, progress reporting, and executive updates in support of strategic priorities.
  • Develop executive presentations, board materials, scorecards, and strategic reports.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions to identify and address organizational opportunities.

Corporate Communications
  • Develop and execute integrated communications plans supporting organizational priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Support media relations, public relations campaigns, community engagement, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Ensure communications consistently reflect organizational priorities, mission, and brand.

Executive Support
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on planning, communications, and organizational priorities.
  • Prepare and support executives for presentations, media opportunities, and public events.

Project Leadership
  • Manage multiple enterprise initiatives to ensure successful execution and achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Monitor progress, measure effectiveness, identify risks, and recommend solutions to leadership.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and build relationships across all levels of the organization.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Strategic Planning, Marketing, or related field; master's degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, strategic planning, public relations or related field. Experience supporting executive leadership and enterprise-wide initiatives. Financial services or banking experience preferred.

Work Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Atlanta, GA office. This position may not be filled in New Jersey, either in-person or remotely.

Work Schedule: Onsite with an opportunity to work remote partially.
