Full Job Description
As a Senior Strategic Analytics Lead, Digital & Financial Insights, you will shape how data and analytics inform growth strategies across digital engagement programs and downstream financial outcomes. You will partner closely with marketing, digital product, sales, and data teams to connect engagement signals (e.g., campaign interactions, journeys, channel performance) to key financial services metrics such as assets under management (AUM), net flows/cash flow, product adoption, holdings composition, and wallet share. In this role, you will integrate internal data with external market and platform data (e.g., holdings, weights, flows, and competitive landscape datasets) to uncover opportunities, quantify impact, and influence decisions. You will be expected to work independently, own stakeholder relationships, and proactively recommend strategies and measurement approaches based on rigorous analysis.

Details
  • Collaborate with marketing, digital product, sales, and business stakeholders to understand growth priorities, distribution strategy, and measurement needs across the client and advisor journey.
  • Leverage internal and third-party data (e.g., holdings, weights, flows, product and account attributes) to develop actionable insights that improve engagement programs and inform business strategy.
  • Partner with external platform/market ecosystem counterparts to uncover competitive and opportunity insights, translating findings into clear implications for digital experiences and go-to-market priorities.
  • Lead synthesis of market and competitive trends, including product positioning and portfolio composition, to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
  • Own and manage recurring performance reporting and ad-hoc analytics, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery and clear executive-level storytelling.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead analytics initiatives that connect digital engagement and sales activity to downstream financial outcomes (e.g., AUM growth, net flows/cash flow, product adoption, and retention) using sound measurement and attribution approaches.
  • Define and maintain a KPI framework spanning engagement (digital and marketing), funnel conversion, and financial metrics, aligning stakeholders on definitions, methodologies, and data sources.
  • Acquire, compile, and validate data from internal sources and third-party providers (e.g., holdings, weights, benchmarks, entity reference data), ensuring quality, lineage, and appropriate usage.
  • Perform segmentation and prospect identification to prioritize audiences (e.g., advisors, firms) and inform targeting strategies for engagement programs.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver dashboards, visualizations, and presentations that translate complex analysis into compelling, actionable stories for senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Design, execute, and analyze digital experiments (e.g., A/B, multivariate tests) and measurement plans to validate hypotheses, optimize engagement, and quantify impact on financial KPIs.
  • Generate competitive and opportunity insights by comparing portfolio positioning, asset allocation/holdings patterns, product trends, and distribution dynamics; translate insights into recommendations.
  • Advocate for change by influencing roadmap, campaign strategy, and measurement practices through clear communication, strong data visualization, and stakeholder partnership.
  • Stay current on industry trends in wealth/investment management, digital engagement measurement, and analytics tooling; recommend new approaches where relevant.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in analytics, with a strong mix of digital/marketing analytics and financial services analytics (e.g., wealth management, investment products, intermediary distribution).
  • Demonstrated experience working with financial datasets and metrics such as AUM, flows/cash flow, product and account attributes, holdings, weights, and related performance measures.
  • Experience integrating and analyzing third-party market and holdings datasets (e.g., industry data providers for holdings/weights/flows and entity mapping), and translating results into business strategy.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL; proficiency in Python and Tableau (or equivalent BI/analytics tools); experience working in cloud data environments (e.g., AWS and Redshift or similar).
  • In-depth knowledge of digital analytics and measurement, with experience using web/app analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics) and designing measurement plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in experimentation design, execution, and analysis; ability to quantify impact and influence decisions using test-and-learn methods.
  • Strong analytical storytelling and executive communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial and digital concepts for diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and own stakeholder relationships across marketing, product, sales, and data teams.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.
