Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation and successful delivery of findhelp's most complex and high-impact government programs. You will be responsible for defining comprehensive program plans, mitigating strategic risks, and orchestrating cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery and adoption of solutions. Along with a passion for social care, you have a proven track record of leadership in large-scale, intricate project and program management, specifically within government delivery contexts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Strategically own and drive the end-to-end lifecycle for highly complex government programs or a portfolio of interdependent projects, leading discussions with executive stakeholders and providing high-level strategic reporting.
  • Develop and present comprehensive program status reports to senior leadership and external stakeholders, proactively escalating and providing mitigation strategies for program-level risks or significant deviations from scope.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Government Delivery and other senior leaders to proactively identify, assess, and address strategic risks and significant opportunities impacting program success and long-term delivery.
  • Ensure program work is strategically prioritized and meticulously aligned to achieve critical short and long-term deliverables for government projects and overall business objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional communication and collaboration to ensure all key stakeholders have access to the right information to make informed, strategic decisions.
  • Define, implement, and continuously evolve project and program management best practices for the Government Delivery team and internal stakeholders, ensuring robust methodologies are widely communicated and utilized.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and other team members, fostering best practices, knowledge sharing, and professional growth within the department.
  • Serve as a primary liaison and expert guide for government clients regarding implementation processes, managing complex expectations and relationships to ensure satisfaction and successful outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or advanced certification preferred.
  • 8+ years experience with project and program management, with proven success and leadership in implementing large-scale, highly complex programs that include significant government delivery and/or direct government clients.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and their application in complex government environments.
  • Experience with technology implementation projects, particularly those involving intricate integrations or enterprise systems.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships and influence executive leadership and diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify systemic business opportunities and proactively mitigate high-level risks.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with advanced organizational and program management skills.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and lead initiatives with minimal direction, demonstrating a strong sense of accountability and ownership for program success.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (or more, depending on program needs) as required.
