Job DescriptionAs a Field Scientist, you will play a crucial role in our environmental consulting services. Your expertise will be utilized in conducting wetland delineations, utilizing GPS technology for accurate data collection, and creating detailed maps using GIS. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting reviews related to threatened and endangered species, ensuring compliance with regulations. Prior experience in USACE 404 permitting, although not mandatory, will be an added advantage.
Qualifications-
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in wetland delineation techniques and regulations.
- Experience with GPS technology and data collection.
- Strong GIS mapping skills and the ability to create detailed maps.
- Knowledge of threatened and endangered species and their habitats.
- Familiarity with USACE 404 permitting processes (preferred but not required).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for field work.
