Summary You will be joining Solenis' Process Technology and Engineering Research Group. This position requires a strong understanding of the fundamental concepts of chemical engineering and how they can be applied in the development and troubleshooting of chemical processes. You will support Solenis manufacturing plants, product lines, and customers by performing lab scale analyses on polymerization reactions, dispersion and homogenization processes, membrane separation processes, and chemical application in the wide array of Solenis customer industries.
Responsibilities- Apply chemical engineering fundamentals to develop, analyze, and evaluate process unit operations.
- Design and conduct laboratory-scale experiments related to polymerization, dispersion, homogenization, and membrane separation processes.
- Support troubleshooting of product quality and manufacturing issues across Solenis plants.
- Optimize existing chemical processes and products to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability.
- Assist in the development and scale-up of new technologies from laboratory research to commercial production.
- Analyze experimental data using statistical methods and engineering tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and technical service.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly through written reports and presentations.
Qualifications- Ph.D. or Master's in Chemical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of fundamental chemical engineering principles.
- Expertise in experimental design and statistical data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving goals and project objectives.
- Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders within and outside of R&D.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $93,530.00 and $155,890.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
