Senior SQL Developer with
3-5 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL programming, database performance tuning, data modeling, and supporting business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
- Design and implement efficient database schemas and data models.
- Develop and support ETL processes for data integration and migration.
- Ensure data integrity, security, backup, and recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance and data-related issues.
- Create technical documentation for database objects and processes.
- Participate in code reviews and implement database development best practices.
Required Skills- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Strong expertise in SQL programming, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, CTEs, window functions, and complex joins.
- Experience in query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Good understanding of database design, normalization, and data modeling.
- Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS or scripting using Python/PowerShell is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with cloud database platforms such as Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS, or Google Cloud SQL.
- Knowledge of reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Tableau is an advantage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a SQL Developer, Database Developer, or similar role.
