DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Speechwriting & Executive Communications
- Develop and deliver impactful speeches, talking points, editorials, opinion pieces, and other executive communications.
- Capture and communicate leadership perspectives with authenticity, clarity, and strategic messaging.
- Support leaders during major speaking engagements, conferences, meetings, and presentations.
- Provide communication guidance, presentations, and training to internal stakeholders as needed.
- Strategic Communications
- Collaborate across departments to develop and execute integrated communication strategies.
- Ensure alignment across branding, media relations, digital communications, social media, advertising, and stakeholder engagement efforts.
- Develop messaging frameworks and key talking points consistent with organizational priorities and objectives.
- Support proactive communications planning and response strategies.
- Research & Content Development
- Monitor and analyze current events, policy developments, industry trends, and emerging issues.
- Conduct research to inform speeches, public statements, editorials, and executive communications.
- Translate complex topics into compelling content tailored to a variety of audiences.
- Produce high-quality written materials under tight deadlines.
- Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal teams, industry partners, media contacts, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with communications, public relations, and advocacy partners to support campaign goals and organizational initiatives.
- Help develop coalition-building strategies that enhance communications effectiveness and audience reach.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Required Education
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Humanities, or a related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Required Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in speechwriting, executive communications, journalism, public relations, advocacy, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience writing speeches, editorials, articles, and public-facing content for senior leaders.
- Experience managing politically sensitive or high-profile communications.
- Proven success handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, research, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $102000.00 - $158178.00/yr.
