About the Role

The Continuous Improvement Specialist supports operational excellence initiatives across McKesson's distribution network. Working closely with Distribution Center leaders and cross-functional partners, this role identifies opportunities to improve performance, drive process standardization, and deliver sustainable business results through continuous improvement methodologies. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost performance across distribution operations.
  • Partner with operational leaders to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to uncover inefficiencies and prioritize improvement efforts.
  • Facilitate improvement events, workshops, and root cause analysis activities to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes, best practices, and scalable solutions across the network.
  • Measure, validate, and communicate project results, including operational and financial impact.
  • Support change management activities and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Operational Excellence teams to improve workflow, material flow, and overall network performance.

Minimum Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification.
  • Experience supporting warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations.
  • Bilingual French and English is an asset.
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed.
