Job Description:

L3Harris' Spectrum Superiority segment is seeking a Project Engineer responsible for managing the day-to-day tactical execution of assigned engineering programs and Global Trade Compliance projects. This role oversees cost, schedule, and technical performance, serving as the primary liaison between engineering project management, cross-functional teams, and leadership. The position monitors project progress, resolves complex issues, and implements improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. It also provides coordination across resource managers, ensures required reviews and approvals are met, and may conduct project analyses to support future program effectiveness.

Essential Functions:

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
• Knowledge and experience using AI tools for staffing, forecasting and other related technical tasks
• Experience in system level development, requirements definition, analysis, and risk mitigation for Communications, Open Systems Architecture, Satellite Communications, and/or Electronic Presentation and communication skills
• Space Communications Design, Architecture Experience
• Space Parts, Materials and Process Background
• Proposal experience with DoD contracts
• An active Secret or Top Secret US DoD clearance or the ability to obtain a US DoD clearance
