Job Description

Reporting to an Associate Director, Communications Strategy Lead (CSL), the Senior Specialist, Integrated Communications Execution Partner, assists in the development and execution of communications plans and meeting strategies supporting the various Human Health Business Units and Sales Organizations.

The Senior Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the US Market and of the Business Unit and Sales Organization strategies and priorities. This deep understanding is built upon a close partnership with Sales Leaders, Marketing, Strategy and Commercial Operations, Business Planning and other HQ based teams. This key contributor must be able to effectively prioritize work and manage multiple projects delivering high-quality work within established timelines.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following and may differ based on BU and sales organization strategy and priorities.

Communications Planning:
  • Partner with the Associate Director, Communication Strategy Lead (CSL) to support the development and execution of communication strategies aligned to business priorities.
  • Translate strategic direction into clear communication plans, including messaging, channel approach, and content needs to ensure all communications are appropriately informative to engage the field and delivered in a timely and effective way.
  • Assist in maintaining the field facing shared calendar/s and longitudinal planning tools to keep initiatives organized and aligned with cross functional teams.
  • Participation in discussions with compliance and legal as well as ownership of jobs in PromoMats.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of field focused events/engagements including but not limited to the following - emails, national sales calls, national marketing calls, field bulletins, audio messages, video messages, Teams meetings, and webcasts.
  • Track field engagement and gather feedback to support ongoing improvements in communication planning.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and contribute as a reliable communications partner to a broad cross functional team.


Meeting Execution:
  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders, Marketing, Learning & Development, Meeting Planning, and other internal and external stakeholders to provide meeting strategy around agendas, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Partner with Sales Leaders on the development of meeting assets in support of meeting goals and objectives.
  • Coordination with the Communications Strategy Lead and Meeting Planning to manage meeting budgets.
  • Types of meetings include but are not limited to the following - launch, 1S/2S, Fast Start/Sales Kick Off, and leadership.


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) and at least 2 years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Change Management, Marketing, or Marketing Operational Support functions.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication as well as strong presentation skills and an ability to build relationships with stakeholders, understand business strategy and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
  • Demonstrated strategic/critical thinking, enthusiastic, initiative-taking, engaging and personable.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong collaboration, independent resourcefulness, negotiation, and organizational awareness skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging environment.


Preferred Skills & Competencies:
  • Familiarity with strategy and tactics related to Human Health sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of the promotional review process.
  • An understanding of the role of compliance in support of the sales & marketing teams.
  • Agile, scrum or project management experience.

The salary range for this role is
$106,200.00 - $167,200.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
