Job Description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Client Operations to join our Corporate Trust team. This role is located in Pittsburgh

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Own the end-to-end Trade processing until settlement, including task allocation, controls, quality, and risk management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for process queries, client escalations, and senior stakeholder communication
  • Build strong, trusted client relationships and ensure consistent, accurate service delivery
  • Ensure full compliance with BNY policies and all regulatory daily, weekly, monthly, and annual requirements, including timely escalation of control breaches
  • Lead and manage the team, including workload planning, performance management, coaching, training, and all related people processes
  • Monitor team process knowledge and quality, providing regular feedback and driving continuous improvement
  • Identify process risks and errors, ensure root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Drive the Digital and AI agenda by identifying automation opportunities and embedding digital solutions to deliver higher STP, increased efficiency, and reduced operational risk
  • Lead and coordinate business and change initiatives impacting day to-day operations

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field required.
  • Advanced degree or professional certifications in finance or business administration preferred.
  • Typically 5-6 years of experience in corporate trust or related field within financial services.
  • Good experience of Trade processing, reconciliation, client service and people management required.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills across diverse teams, with excellent interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Experience in holding teams responsible to department KRI's and undertaking annual performance reviews with teams.
  • Demonstrable interest in continuous learning and delivery of process improvements, including the use of digital tools and AI.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents.
