The Supply Chain & Sourcing organization plays a critical role in ensuring continuity, cost control, and long-term supplier sustainability across mature hardware commodities that enable residential and commercial services. Team members partner closely with our internal business units, engineering, operations, quality, and finance to ensure dependable product availability while continuously improving value, relationships, and performance.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives)- Seamless continuity of supply for critical hardware commodities through proactive supplier strategy and rigorous risk mitigation.
- Optimization of the total cost of ownership across metal and electronic components by leveraging AI-driven spend analysis and market benchmarking.
- Strengthened supplier partnerships that bridge technical innovation with long-term commercial objectives and quality standards.
- Integration of AI-enabled forecasting and scenario modeling into standard sourcing workflows to increase the speed and accuracy of decision-making.
- Achievement of departmental OKRs related to cost savings and operational efficiency through disciplined RFX execution and contract management.
Skills, Experience and RequirementsCore Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring)- Fluency in AI-enabled tools for advanced analytics and trend identification to translate complex data into actionable leadership insights.
- Critical experience managing technically complex hardware commodities, including electronics and electromechanical devices, within manufacturing-centric supply chains.
- Advanced proficiency in strategic sourcing methodologies, including the execution of complex RFX events and the management of high-stakes commercial terms.
- Strong capability to balance AI-generated recommendations with professional business judgment and cross-functional engineering input.
- Expertise in supplier performance management focused on the intersection of cost discipline, delivery reliability, and quality assurance.
- Collaborative leadership skills to align internal engineering stakeholders with external global suppliers to drive results.
Additional Qualifications- Master's degree (MBA or related field).
- Familiarity with market intelligence and benchmarking tools applied to global sourcing decisions.
Minimum Requirements- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum Experience: 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain or strategic sourcing.
- Required Technical Skills:
- Complex RFX (RFP, RFQ, RFI) event execution.
- AI-based or advanced analytical tools for spend analysis and forecasting.
- Supplier performance management and commercial contract negotiation.
