GFT is seeking a
Senior Solutions Engineer, Asset Management to support our GIS and Asset Management Services team! This role follows a hybrid-remote work model, requiring occasional onsite attendance at local offices or client sites.
What you'll be challenged to do:We are looking for a motivated, organized, and communicative professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates leadership, and has a proven track record in managing complex projects in areas of geospatial asset management.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:- Lead technical delivery and engineering of asset management solutions.
- Configure and maintain asset management products to align with client requirements.
- Manage relationships with asset management solution vendors
- Configure and implement APIs, data structures, and database management solutions
- Lead migration and upgrade projects for clients, including data validation, testing, and configuration updates.
- Develop, configure, and manage service requests, work orders, inspections, and related workflows.
- Provide user support, troubleshoot system issues, and document solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Assist in testing, training, and go-live support for upgrades and enhancements.
- Develop and delivery presentations to clients to support pursuits and project delivery.
- Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and best practices.
- Research new products, software, vendors and implementation strategies
- Support asset management programs for clients across various disciplines.
- Design applications that feature cohesive user interfaces and focus on user experience.
- Communicate effectively, written and verbal, with a team of solution engineers and clients.
What you will bring to our firm: - Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience working with asset management product configuration and administration.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Esri's latest desktop and online software suites.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience engineering solutions for clients.
- Understanding of asset management principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of software application and data management principles.
What we prefer you bring: - Familiarity with a variety of asset management products, APIs, SDKs, or custom integrations.
- Leading technical training sessions for non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of permitting, licensing, and land use workflows.
Compensation:The salary range for this role is $145,000 - $185,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
