Role description

You Are:

As the Senior Solution Architect - Salesforce, you will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions, driving strategy, digital transformation, and customer experience initiatives. You are an experienced technical leader with deep expertise across Salesforce clouds and integrations, with a proven track record of aligning business strategy with scalable Salesforce architecture while optimizing total cost of ownership.

The opportunity:
  • Lead the design and governance of Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other platform capabilities
  • Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards for Salesforce implementations, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
  • Partner with business and IT leadership to establish Salesforce as a strategic customer engagement platform
  • Evaluate and recommend Salesforce products and ecosystem tools (AppExchange, ISVs) to meet evolving business needs
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions, including integrations with enterprise systems (ERP, data platforms, third-party applications)
  • Architect integration patterns using APIs, MuleSoft, middleware, and event-driven architecture
  • Build and maintain an open, extensible architecture enabling capabilities such as data integration, automation, analytics, and AI (Einstein)
  • Provide strategic direction for leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud, AI, and advanced analytics to drive business value
  • Define data models, governance, and lifecycle management within Salesforce, ensuring data quality and compliance
  • Lead solution design, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers, admins, and architects within agile delivery teams


What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 12 years of IT experience with strong expertise in applications architecture, integration, and enterprise systems
  • At least years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platform architecture and implementation
  • Deep expertise across Salesforce products such as: Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud Marketing Cloud (preferred) Salesforce Data Cloud and Einstein AI (preferred)
  • Strong experience designing end-to-end Salesforce solutions, including integrations, data models, security, and automation
  • Experience with integration frameworks and tools such as MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and event-driven architectures
  • Proven experience implementing governance frameworks, DevOps processes, and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce
  • Salesforce certifications required/preferred:
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (preferred)
  • Application/System Architect certifications
  • Platform Developer certifications
  • Strong ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into scalable solutions


Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: US Remote

Compensation Range: $160,000-240,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
