Description & RequirementsWhat's the Role? As a Senior Solutions Architect within Enterprise Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting technical integrations between client environments and Bloomberg's suite of enterprise applications.
These integrations often involve building and deploying solutions that leverage XML and FIX messaging, APIs, and a variety of connectivity technologies to facilitate the secure and reliable exchange of data between client systems and the Bloomberg Cloud.
Typical engagements may include real-time XML and FIX messaging, data transformations, batch-based processing, FpML and SWIFT messaging, as well as connectivity solutions utilizing MQ, FIX, TCP/IP, SFTP, Web APIs, WebSockets, and ODBC. In addition to enabling data connectivity and transformation, you will help clients leverage Bloomberg APIs through both server-based and desktop-based architectures.
We'll Trust You To- Design, configure, and deploy integration solutions between Bloomberg platforms and client environments
- Lead technical implementation activities and ensure successful delivery of integration projects
- Work directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions
- Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and connectivity issues
- Collaborate with internal Product, Engineering, and Client Service teams to drive successful outcomes
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle
You'll Need To Have- 7+ years of experience in a technical role supporting front-office technologies within a financial institution or financial technology vendor
- Capital markets knowledge, including an understanding of buy-side and sell-side order management workflows
- Strong experience working with MQ, SFTP, Web APIs, SWIFT, and FIX protocols
- Experience with ETL workflows and data transformation technologies, including XML and XSLT
- Client-facing communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively
- Proven ability to independently manage technical integration and implementation projects
We'd Love to See- Programming or scripting experience, preferably with Python or similar technologies
- Experience working with source code repositories and software development best practices
- Experience with data analytics or large-scale data environments
- Familiarity with API testing and development tools such as Postman
- AWS and/or Azure foundational certifications
- Additional European language skills

Salary Range = 150,000 - 200,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
