Full Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview.

Commercial B2B streaming platforms, APIs, and enterprise backend systems face complex challenges around quality engineering, scalability, and system reliability. Addressing these needs requires hands-on automation scripting, performance testing, OS-level Linux troubleshooting, and deep IP networking analysis to ensure flawless video delivery across environments such as Hospitality, Healthcare, MDUs, and Commercial Venues. This role drives product excellence by embedding modern AI tools to optimize test scenario authoring, synthetic load generation, and root-cause defect analysis. Ultimately, these efforts safeguard high availability, validate custom end-to-end features, and uphold backend data integrity across critical B2B commercial portfolios.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
  • Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts within CI/CD pipelines while executing stress and load testing across video player components to preemptively resolve system bottlenecks
  • Perform deep Linux troubleshooting, inspect system logs, and debug complex IP network traffic-including TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, and Wi-Fi routing-to ensure seamless video delivery across commercial hardware
  • Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate test scenario authoring, generate synthetic load data, and streamline root-cause defect analysis
  • Validate end-to-end data integrity across backend microservices, billing systems, and Salesforce integrations to protect enterprise functionality
  • Manage the full defect tracking lifecycle in JIRA by categorizing and prioritizing issues in close coordination with development teams to ensure rapid resolution

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):
  • Advanced expertise in test automation scripting using languages such as Python, Bash, Java, or JavaScript, along with performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust
  • Deep command of Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting, command-line navigation, system performance monitoring, and OS-level log parsing
  • Proven proficiency in AI literacy and application, utilizing AI-driven tools to enhance daily testing efficiency, script drafting, and automated problem-solving
  • Robust functional mastery of backend microservices architecture, enterprise software QA methodologies, and RESTful API validation such as Postman and Swagger
  • Capability in IP networking protocols and network capture analysis using tools like Wireshark, Charles Proxy, and Android Studio/ADB

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience in B2B commercial setups, including Hospitality, Senior Living, MDUs, or Public Venues
  • Familiarity with commercial RF distribution, Coax setup, MoCA networking, or headend systems such as SMARTBOX
  • Practical knowledge of DevOps automation workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Background testing enterprise billing microservices or Salesforce integrations

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
