Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Programming Finance Manager provides strategic financial leadership to the Programming Finance team, driving financial strategy and modeling for critical negotiations with major programming partners like Disney, Fox, NBC, and Univision. This role addresses complex financial challenges across all lines of business, equipping deal teams with accurate, dynamic models while managing the end-to-end annual budget process. Serving as the primary bridge between finance, executive leadership, and programming partners, the position balances enterprise-level financial goals with driving operational efficiency and team professional development.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
  • Lead financial strategy and modeling for major programming renewals to empower real-time decision-making in high-stakes negotiations
  • Own the end-to-end annual budget buildout across all lines of business, ensuring strict alignment with FP&A and executive expectations
  • Oversee month-end close and variance analysis to provide leadership clear visibility into financial performance and key risk drivers
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team of financial analysts to foster operational excellence and professional growth
  • Drive operational efficiency by leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline financial processes, optimize reporting, and enhance audit functions
  • Build cross-functional partnerships across accounting, marketing, retention, operations, and legal to deliver actionable strategic recommendations

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, valuation, or strategic corporate finance, including management experience
  • Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with:
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
    • Quantitative analysis, valuation concepts, and data interpretation
    • Revenue and cost forecasting, offer profitability modeling, and M&A financial analysis

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $101,925.00/Year - $137,875.00/Year
