Senior Software Integration Support Analyst, Remote Eligible, Jacksonville, Baptist Medical IT Digital Solutions CenterThe Senior Software Integration Support Analyst is responsible for maintaining, integrating, implementing, and supporting clinical software applications across Baptist Health. This role partners with clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure clinical applications and integrations are reliable, effectively configured, and aligned with organizational and patient care needs. Key responsibilities include application configuration, interface and integration support, system testing, quality assurance, installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and ongoing production support. The analyst utilizes in-depth knowledge of healthcare interface systems and HL7 integrations, as well as EMPI (Enterprise Master Patient Index), PMI (Provider Master Index), and Epic SER, to support accurate and reliable exchange of clinical and provider data across systems.
The Senior Software Integration Support Analyst independently analyzes and resolves complex application, interface, and integration issues while providing technical guidance and expertise to colleagues and key stakeholders. Responsibilities include developing and executing test scripts, supporting automated testing through integrations, coordinating system changes and implementations, and partnering with third-party vendors to troubleshoot issues and deliver technical solutions. The analyst may lead smaller projects or workstreams within larger initiatives while maintaining ownership of assigned applications, interfaces, and ongoing processes. This role also identifies opportunities to optimize clinical systems and integrations, improve workflows and data integrity, and enhance the overall reliability and effectiveness of technology supporting Baptist Health's clinical operations
Senior Software Integration Support Analyst, you will be responsible for: - Maintains, integrates and implements clinical software applications within the organization.
- Coordinates clinical software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new clinical software and updates to installed clinical applications.
- Ensures proper controls are established and maintained over test and production systems and software source code.
- Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines. Solves complex technical problems in own discipline. Works independently with minimal guidance.
- May lead small projects with limited scope/risks or workstreams within a broader project. May also have accountability for on-going processes, programs or activities.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Level at which a career may stabilize for many years or until retirement.
Experience:- In-depth knowledge of healthcare interface systems and clinical application integrations
- Strong experience with system testing, troubleshooting, and HL7 and API integrations
- Experience supporting and maintaining EMPI (Enterprise Master Patient Index) and PMI (Provider Master Index) systems
- Experience with vendor management, including coordination, technical issue resolution, and implementation support
- Experience developing and executing test scripts, including automated testing of system interfaces and integrations
- Working knowledge of Epic SER (Provider Master File), including provider data and downstream integrations
Education/Degree Required:Certifications Preferred- Epic Security Certification Preferred
- Epic Bridges certification
