What we're looking for: - You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- You have prior experience as a senior software engineer or technical architect, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- You have experience delivering enterprise software solutions, including leveraging AI where appropriate
- You have a proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain diverse engineering talent
- You communicate effectively and build strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams
- You have a solid understanding of modern web technologies and Agile or Scrum methodologies
- You are comfortable prioritizing high-impact work and managing multiple initiatives
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt well to changing priorities
What you'll be doing: - Provide leadership, mentorship, and career development for members of the application development team
- Direct the design and development of complex software solutions within the Microsoft development stack
- Guide the thoughtful use of AI to accelerate feature development and improve code quality
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and code review processes
- Drive improvements in build processes, test automation, and continuous integration practices
- Partner with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals
- Lead collaborative design sessions to architect data structures, web components, and services
- Ensure clear and transparent communication of project status, risks, and dependencies
- Support issue resolution and implement preventative improvements to reduce recurring problems
- Empower support teams through training, documentation, and tooling
- Maintain thorough technical documentation and participate in change management activities
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and remove impediments when acting as a Scrum leader
