This position will develop new analytics, enhance existing analytics, and maintain and improve the applications that support these analytics using bigdata tools, Azure, Pyspark, SCALA and AIML technology stack. Required Qualifications: • 8+ years of professional experience in Information Technology (IT) • 5+ years of experience developing software applications • 5+ years of experience developing applications using Scala, Python, JSON, and Web Services • 3+ years of experience developing solutions hosted within public cloud providers such as Azure/AWS, etc. • 2+ years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining web APIs or RESTful services in a production environment • 2+ years of experience working with distributed systems technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, or Snowflake • 2+ years of experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases • 2+ years of experience in supporting Agile delivery methodologies, including backlog refinement, user story development, and sprint planning • 2+ years of experience with AI/ML-driven solutions • 1+ years of experience building services or full stack applications using technologies such as FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, React, Angular, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS Preferred Qualifications: • Data analysis experience • Functional testing experience • Healthcare industry experience • Understanding of SOA (service-oriented architecture) concepts • Excellent analysis, process, problem solving and critical thinking skills *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
