Our mission is to prevent identity collisions before they create customer, privacy, or operational incidents, while driving remediation directly at the source. You will work on flagship platforms including IRP (detecting enterprise identity risks), RemHub (remediation enablement platform supporting thousands of SSN corrections), and FRED (Fraud and Risk Entity Discovery & Diagnostics next-generation portal).

Our engineering environment is a cloud-native AWS platform featuring 25+ microservices, event-driven architectures, Kafka-based data pipelines, Java/Spring Boot services, React/TypeScript portals, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern AI-assisted engineering practices. In this role, you will leverage enterprise AI tools and techniques to optimize engineering productivity and build next-generation identity risk and fraud detection solutions.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, cloud-native fullstack applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, React, Next.js, and TypeScript
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions and automations to address complex identity risk, fraud intelligence, and entity discovery challenges with an emphasis on responsible AI practices
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools and modern technologies to streamline software engineering workflows, automate routine tasks, and drive continuous productivity improvements
  • Build and maintain resilient event-driven architectures and Kafka-based data pipelines supporting core identity risk platforms (IRP, RemHub, FRED)
  • Design and manage relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and efficient data structures to support high-throughput identity data diagnostics and risk evaluation
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product teams, and security stakeholders to build intuitive portals for risk investigation and remediation enablement
  • Evaluate emerging technical and AI trends to inform system architecture design, strategic innovation, and platform evolution
  • Enforce high standards of code quality, testability, security, CI/CD pipeline automation, and cloud infrastructure management using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience
  • 2+ years of experience with server-side microservice development using Java and Spring Boot
  • 2+ years of experience building event-driven architectures and data pipelines using Apache Kafka
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud services or similar and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform)
  • 2+ years of experience designing and optimizing relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL or similar)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using enterprise software engineering AI tools or developing AI-assisted automations to streamline solution delivery
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Experience with Next.js, modern front-end package managers, and state management libraries
  • Experience in enterprise identity access management (IAM), identity risk detection, fraud discovery, or account-takeover prevention
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models or developing AI-driven features for pattern recognition, risk evaluation, or operational diagnostics
  • Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Solid understanding of web security standards, modern authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth, JWT), and enterprise data privacy standards
