TITLE: Sr. Software Engineer
LOCATION: Herndon, VA
CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Onsite
POSITION SUMMARYModern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software solutions within secure on-premises and cloud-based environments in support of national intelligence missions. In this role, you will apply your expertise in C/C++ and Python development to build and integrate mission-critical capabilities across the NRO domain.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS- Must possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of.
- 8+ years of experience in software development and integration using C/C++ and Python.
- Experience developing and integrating software in both on-premises and AWS C2E environments.
- This position requires regular onsite attendance at our Herndon, VA facility. No remote work is available.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- NRO domain experience.
