Senior Software Engineer Location: Houston TX-Remote-CST Hours Duration: Fulltime Summary The Senior Software Engineer will be a key contributor in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-quality software solutions. This role requires expertise in .NET Core/C#/Java, REST APIs, and SQL Server, with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and Design Patterns. The ideal candidate will have experience with DevOps, Release Management, Microservices architecture, and cloud technologies. Responsibilities include end-to-end software development, system design, and writing well-documented, testable, and maintainable code while ensuring high software quality and performance.
Qualifications and Experience - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with .NET Core/C#/Java.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
- Hands-on experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in SQL Server; experience with MongoDB is a plus.
- Experience with Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Release Management.
- Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
- Experience in Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Strong system design and documentation skills.
- Cloud experience (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
