Write code to add new software features to applications using Golang or other languages where appropriate.
What You Will Do:- Contribute to design and implementation of databases, design schemas and create efficient queries and access patterns.
- Participate in and contribute to Agile software development ceremonies.
- Participate in code reviews and assist in maintaining high code quality.
- Refactor application code to address shortcomings and/or improve stability, performance, and scalability.
- Coordinate with team leads, architects and other engineers on product design and architecture.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Work with Red Hat's global customer support teams to aid them in assisting customers.
- Work with continuous integration (CI) and delivery (CD) and respond to security threats.
What You Will Bring:- Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
- Must have five (5) years of experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Python, Java, C#, or C or C++.
- Must have three (3) years of experience with microservices architecture and concepts including APIs, versioning, and monitoring.
- Must have two (2) years of experience with: container-related technologies, virtualization, or distributed systems; and one or more public cloud service providers: AWS, GCP, Azure.
- Must have one (1) year of experience with database design and implementation.

The salary range for this position is $157,248 - $215,300/year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
